Helping with Life's Challenges
I have over 30 years of experience working with people of all ages. My interest has been providing support to find solutions to challenges and develop coping skills to better manage the difficulties life presents. I especially enjoy helping people learn to more effectively deal with anxiety. Much of my career, I've supported parents/caregivers and their children to navigate school issues and to experience school success. I can also help to resolve family conflicts or to develop behavior management strategies.
I graduated from Wheelock College in Boston with a BS in Early Childhood Education and Special Education and after teaching in a kindergarten special needs classroom, went on to earn my master's in social work from the Virginia Commonwealth University.
I have been a practitioner in schools, inpatient and outpatient mental health facilities, and also home-based services. I enjoy helping with people of all ages, hearing their stories and helping them build skills to lead more fulfilling lives.
